Companionship and support

Many people simply require companionship and help with the little things rather than having complicated care needs. We pride ourselves on finding compatible companions who can help make life just that little bit easier at home.

Short-term care

You may only need care and support for a couple of weeks. It could be your full-time carer is taking a holiday or perhaps you’re recovering from a simple operation. Our live-in carers can cover any short-term needs, providing care and support in the comfort of your own home.

Condition-led care

Conditions like Dementia, Parkinson’s and Motor Neurone Disease can often mean that you have to move into residential care, whether you actually want to or not. Our specialist carers are trained to provide one-to-one assistance for a wide variety of conditions which enables you to remain in the comfort and familiarity of your own home.

Urgent care

We’re here to help when you weren’t expecting to need help at all. In an emergency, we can rapidly arrange live-in care at home so that you can be quickly released from hospital after an unforeseen illness, condition flair-up or a minor accident.

Not sure/something else

If you’re not sure on what sort of live-in care would work best for you, don’t worry, we’re here to help. Why not call us to discuss to find out more about how live-in care works and how we can help to preserve your independence and above all, allow to enjoy life in the comfort of your own home.

One of the main benefits of the live-in care model is that our clients are able to retain their independence and dignity, whilst safely receiving care that is tailored to their specific needs.

Why consider live-in care?

Despite our appreciation and awareness of the ageing process, it’s compelling that the majority of people want to remain at home and independent for as long as possible. In fact, a study carried out by One Poll in 2014 revealed that 97% of people would not want to move into a residential care home if they were given a choice.

Typically, we only consider the ‘choice’ of being able to stay at home if we were able to receive the care and support we need from loved ones or via domiciliary care (homecare). The other option – usually met with some resistance and despair – would be to move into a residential care home.

If we are fortunate enough to receive the care and support we need from loved-ones or domiciliary care services, we tend to ‘make do’ until an event such as a fall or an illness triggers us to take further or final action. This final action is normally when a person finally gives up their home comforts to live in residential care facilities.

Live-in care services are a genuine, viable alternative to domiciliary and residential care.
