Our live-in care workers are trained to deal with a wide range of behavioural needs. In today’s busy and fast-paced environment, our experienced care workers offer the peace of mind that someone is always there for your loved one, even when you can’t be. Our live-in care workers patiently support people with daily life at home and help them to remain active within their communities and social circles.
Challenging behaviours can develop following an illness or can become evident during childhood. Often there is plenty of support for children with behavioural needs during school years but less as they reach adulthood.
Some of our clients need support to boost confidence, while others need help to remain calm in social situations. Live-in care workers aren’t just there to support clients in their home, they are there to support them in all aspects of their lives. Understanding behavioural, social and emotional needs is a key part of the training our care workers receive.
Whether you use Promedica24 for short-term respite care or for long-term care for challenging behaviour, we’ll take the same professional approach to assessing a client’s care needs to help them to live as fulfilling a life as possible. We present a selection of care workers based on our clients’ interests, personality and lifestyle and you then choose the most suitable fit. You can keep the same care workers for up to three months at a time before they take a break, they may then alternate with another care workers, just as suitable as the first.
Having someone in the house all the time with mum is brilliant. I know she's happy, I know she's safe. It's great - I don't have to worry.
